Media Visit Policy
PLYMOUTH, Vt. (Winter) — Bear Creek Mountain Club welcomes members of the news and broadcast media who wish to research Bear Creek and the country club for skiing experience for their publications or broadcasts. The Bear Creek Mountain Club News Bureau will issue complimentary lift passes to members of the media who write or print Bear Creek Mountain Club feature stories, use Bear Creek news releases or produce Bear Creek-featured radio and TV broadcasts.
Arrangements must be made in advance with the Bear Creek Mountain Club News Bureau. Only single-day passes will be issued unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
THE BEAR CREEK MOUNTAIN CLUB NEWS BUREAU COMPLIMENTARY PASS POLICY
1. Lift passes will be issued to:
xxx• Writers on assignment
xxx• Radio and television announcers/editors directly responsible for airing of published Bear Creek news releases
xxx• Engineers and camera operators on assignment
xxx• Photographers, filmmakers and models on assignment
Spouses and children are not included, except where the assignment involves family, children's programs or other stories that involve the family members.
2. The News Bureau will not issue lift passes to other media personnel such as advertising and sales representatives.
3. Bear Creek Mountain Club does not own lodging. Therefore, while every attempt will be made to provide complimentary lodging for media guests meeting the above requirements whose assignments require an overnight stay, it is not guaranteed.
Arrangements for lodging accommodations must be made at least three weeks in advance as lodging space is limited.
To obtain a complimentary day pass, contact Matt Crape at the Bear Creek Mountain Club News Bureau at 802.672.4242 at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Arrangements for a complimentary pass must be made in advance, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Complimentary passes may be picked up at the Bear Creek Mountain Club Clubhouse located at the base of the mountain, off Route 100. Please present valid media identification upon arrival.
